1. Overview

AR Property Viewer ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile web application that uses augmented reality to overlay real estate data on the physical world. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service at realestate-ar.vercel.app.

We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in via Google, your name and profile picture. You may also set a display name.

Location Data

The AR view requires your device's GPS location to identify nearby properties and position augmented reality overlays. Location data is used in real time and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to serve the current session. Saved properties store the latitude and longitude of the property itself, not your location at time of scan.

Camera

The AR view accesses your device camera to display the live camera feed. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We collect data about how you use the app, including which properties you scan, save, and set price alerts on. We track the number of AR views per day to enforce free-tier limits. This data is associated with your account.

Push Notifications

If you enable price alerts, we store a push subscription token on our servers to deliver notifications to your device. You can revoke this at any time by disabling notifications in your browser settings.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the AR property viewing experience
  • To enforce free-tier usage limits and manage subscriptions
  • To send price change push notifications you have opted into
  • To display your saved properties and AR view history
  • To generate agent share links and track leads on your behalf
  • To diagnose errors and improve the service
  • To display aggregate usage statistics (e.g., total properties scanned)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AR Property Viewer:

Supabase

Database, authentication, and real-time infrastructure. Your account data and saved properties are stored in Supabase.

ATTOM Data Solutions

Property data provider. When you scan a property, we query the ATTOM API for estimated value, sales history, and property details. No personal data is sent to ATTOM.

Stripe

Payment processing for Pro and Agent subscriptions.

Vercel

Hosting, edge network, and KV cache for server-side property data caching.

Resend

Transactional email delivery for error notifications and cron summaries sent to the app owner. Not used to send marketing email to users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and usage history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, saved properties, alerts, push subscriptions, and view history) is deleted within 30 days. Aggregate anonymized statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via browser settings
  • Export your saved properties from the dashboard

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We use localStorage to store user preferences such as onboarding completion status and notification dismissal. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

AR Property Viewer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
